LONG BEACH, CA: Step into a night inspired by the beauty and tradition of Día de los Muertos as we come together to celebrate life, art, music, and the memories of those who came before us. 💀🌼🕯️Join De Milo Events for Día de los Muertos Paint & Sip Celebration on Friday, October 17th starting at 7PM at MOLAA  in Long Beach, CA! This event is 18+

Join us for a vibrant evening of painting, drinks, music, and tradition, featuring a special LIVE Danza Azteca performance followed by a blessing of our Día de los Muertos altar. Guests will also have the opportunity to admire the performers’ beautiful regalia up close and learn more about the traditions they share. 🪶🔥🌼

Paint, sip, and sing along to traditional Día de los Muertos songs and beloved Mexican anthems, then get ready to dance as DJ Pollo brings the cumbia beats and Mexican baile vibes! 🇲🇽🎶🖌️

This paint event is beginner friendly and tailored for everyone; all canvases are pre-outlined and we provide all the necessary materials, so you can focus on bringing your canvas to life! Your ticket also includes a complimentary cocktail (non-alcoholic beverages).

We invite guests to bring a photo of a loved one who has passed to place on our community altar for the evening. Photos placed on the altar will be included in the special blessing following the Danza Azteca performance, allowing us to honor and remember our loved ones together in a beautiful celebration of life, memory, and tradition. 🌼❤️ Please remember to take your photo home with you at the end of the evening.

✨ The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach is the only museum in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to modern and contemporary Latin American and Latinx art. 🌎🎨 Known for its vibrant exhibits, cultural events, and stunning sculpture garden, it’s the perfect setting for an evening celebrating art, culture, and community. ✨

El Pescador Family Restaurant joins the celebration and will be serving delicious food and drinks (including alcoholic beverages — please bring VALID ID for purchase) throughout the night!
